Good morning!
As I sip my tea on this rainy morning, I’m reflecting on the word empathy—how it’s something that can grow stronger with time, through experiences, challenges, triumphs, and setbacks… all the things life hands us. It’s almost like a muscle we can continue to exercise through each season of life. And the more we do, the more it can bring us closer to others—helping us understand and connect with what they’re going through.
This spring, New England got its April showers in May. The whole “April showers bring May flowers” felt like a bit of a tease, with the weather flipping between rain, fall, and spring. I’m not even kidding—I pulled my winter clothes back out last weekend because it was that chilly. But that’s beside the point.
What I’m getting at is this: everyone here went through it. We were all craving sunny days, flowy dresses, and some real signs of spring—but instead, we got gray skies and cold winds. And because we all felt that same letdown, we could empathize with each other. That shared experience, even in something as simple as the weather, brought a surprising sense of comfort.
On another note…
Happy June!
June brings some of the longest, sunniest days of the year. How will you make the most of them? Maybe you’ll feel inspired to be more active and social—spending time with friends and family. Or perhaps you’ll be drawn to slow down, to sit quietly with that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages.
This is your life. You get to choose how you spend it.
The beauty of these long days is the extra space they offer—time to do more of what fills you up. Take a sunset walk, have a picnic, try a new seasonal recipe, or head to your favorite workout class. The options are endless, and each one holds the potential for new memories and meaningful moments.
Embrace the opportunities that come with the light ~ let June be a month to remember. 🌻
My May Favorites
Bright flowers in full bloom
Learning to be more patient with my body and energy as it ebbs and flows
Staying (somewhat) consistent with post-lunch and dinner walks—supporting blood sugar balance and digestion
Trying a new farm store/coffee shop that I will be going back to asap!
My June Intentions
Welcome the unknown with an open heart and open palm—not a clenched fist.
Practice gratitude for what I have, while still working toward what I want.
Take a trip to the beach
Work from a coffee shop (maybe once a week?)
Take a yoga class in a studio (outside of teaching, just for me)

I hope this new month brings you lots of sunshine moments :)
Sending love,
xx Kenzie
