This is for the moments when you’re doing all the things you’re “supposed” to be doing—and still, you’re not feeling well.
When you find yourself reaching for yet another supplement, food, or therapy in hopes that it might be the missing piece. Maybe your body feels tired, your sleep is off, your digestion feels off, your mind feels cloudy… you just feel off, and your body is trying to get your attention in different ways.
It’s in these moments that we tend to ask: what else can I add in to help me feel better?
But maybe the better question is: what can I remove? What can I take a break from, so that my mind, body, and nervous system can rest?
It’s a bit like talking with a friend who’s having a hard time. Our instinct is often to jump in with solutions—to try and fix. But sometimes what they really need is for us to simply listen. To be present. To hold space. No fixing, just being there—present.
And maybe we need that from ourselves, too.
So we can pause and ask: do I need comfort, or do I need solutions?

If I had to start over… here are my top 5 wellness tips:
Hydrate first - Start your day with a glass of water.
Move a little - A short walk, a few stretches, or deep breaths.
Eat real food - Prioritize simple, whole foods over processed ones.
Unplug often - Take intentional breaks from screens and noise.
Rest fully - Honor sleep and moments of stillness.
There’s no shortage of wellness advice out there—supplements, routines, rituals. And when you’re not feeling your best, it’s tempting to try everything.
But sometimes, less really is more.
Instead of adding on, focus on what truly supports you. Do the things that feel good in your body—not just what looks good on someone else’s feed. This is about tuning in, not tuning out.
You are the one living in your body. So trust its signals. Stay curious. And give yourself permission to come back to the basics—again and again.
